This is BENNY, short for Bennito the Blimpus. He is one of those terrifically bizarre characters that lives in the East Village. Sometimes, BENNY allows me to accompany him on his adventures and chronicle his day. His partner in crimes and misdemeanors is FRANKY, The Flashing Ladybug. BENNY IS BRUNCH HUNGRY TAKE 2
BENNY tries his luck at brunch again, this time at Cafe Mogador on St. Marks. the short hipster hostess tells him 1 to 1.5 hrs. BENNY decides that is an absurd amount of time to wait for Moroccan eggs, yells out a profanity, and moves on.
